Event Refund Policy

Cancellation Timeline and Refunds

14 Days or More Before Event:

• Full refund minus 10% processing fee

• Example: $500 event ticket = $450 refund

Between 7-14 Days Before Event:

• 50% refund minus 10% processing fee

• Example: $500 event ticket = $225 refund (50% = $250, minus $25 processing fee)

7 Days or Less Before Event:

• No monetary refund available

• Event credit issued for the full purchase amount

• Credit may be applied toward any future Colorado RECON event

• Credit does not expire

Event Credit Policy

Regardless of cancellation timing, all event purchasers have the option to convert their purchase to an event credit rather than requesting a monetary refund. Event credits:

• Never expire

• Are transferable to other Colorado RECON events

• Retain full purchase value when used within the same calendar year

• May be combined with other credits for higher-value events

Membership Refund Policy

Annual Membership Refunds

• Refunds are available up to 15 days following the membership renewal date

• 10% administrative fee will be deducted from the total refund amount

• Example: $200 membership = $180 refund

Refund Processing

• Processing time: 5-7 business days from approval

• Refunds issued to the original payment method

• Administrative fee covers payment processing and transaction costs

General Terms

Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable under all circumstances:

• Membership benefits already utilized (events attended, resources accessed)

• Event materials or recordings delivered before the cancellation request

• Third-party costs incurred on behalf of the member (processing fees, vendor costs)

Refund Request Process

1. Submit a refund request via email to [email protected]

2. Include original purchase information and reason for cancellation

3. Allow 2-3 business days for review and approval

4. Refunds processed within 5-7 business days of approval

Special Circumstances

Colorado RECON reserves the right to make exceptions to this policy in cases of:

• Medical emergencies with documentation

• Military deployment with official orders

• Natural disasters or circumstances beyond the member's control

Policy Updates

This refund policy may be updated periodically. Current policy applies to all purchases made after the effective date of any changes.
